SANTA CLARA -- Innovative online real estate Web sites, applications and features were honored Thursday evening at fifth annual Inman Innovator Awards, a highlight of the ongoing three-day Real Estate Connect conference here.
Two Internet realty pioneers were also honored at the ceremony.
The winning companies were chosen from 29 finalists in five categories
The award for the Most Innovative Residential Web Site went to HomeBytes.com, in part for its getting licensed and providing access to each states' multiple listing services.
Best Web Application or Feature award went to Supra Products' eKey, which provides home listings to hand-held Web devices.
The award for the Most Innovative Lending Web Site or Service went to LendingTree.com, which allows lenders bid and compete for borrowers business online.
The Most Innovative Commercial Web Site honor went to TenantWise, which provides rental listings, landlord advice and information and brokerage services.
Best Web Application or Feature award for commercial real estate went to NAIdirect.com's RealTrac online, which allows extranet monitoring of transactions.
Two Web realty pioneers were also honored, one in the residential sector, one in the commercial field.
In residential, Phil Dawley won for his key role in building the back-end listing engine at Realtor.com.
Andy Florence, CEO and co-founder of CoStar Group Inc., was honored with the Web Pioneer award for commercial real estate.
